Lunchroom Aide


Position Reports to: School Leadership and PTO President
Responsibilities:
●  To maintain a safe atmosphere for the students during lunch
●  Receive lunch delivery from vendors
●  Set up the lunch serving tables and lunch table
●  Prepare lunch trays for serving the lunch
●  Prepare side dishes when necessary
●  Serve lunch to students in a positive, professional and efficient manner
●  Clean up lunch room and kitchen when lunch is over
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must be a motivated individual with a warm character and exceptional integrity, and must thrive as part of a highly motivated, committed team.
●  Valid food handler certification
●  Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
●  Ability to be flexible

School Nurse

 
School nurse to oversee the physical and social health of students. The nurse provides students with basic health services throughout the school day. School nurse also manages students who have chronic health conditions. This includes giving them medication as needed and working with parents and teachers to create and enforce care plans. Working as a school nurse requires organization, and flexibility. Responsibilities for School Nurse
Perform hearing, vision and other health screenings
Treat students and staff as needed
Develop care plans for students with ongoing conditions
Consult with teachers, school administrators and other school staff regarding student care
Administer medication
Monitor student immunization records
Educate students and staff on health procedures
Qualifications for School Nurse
Registered Nurse (RN) license. Certification through either the state Department of Education or Department of Health is necessary.
Knowledge of many areas of health including mental health
Ability to work independently or with others
Ability to communicate well with others
Ability to assess situations and act quickly
Knowledge of state health regulations
Ability to multitask

September 1st through June 30th (with School Holidays off)
5 hours a day
